Fully utilizing the special cultural advantages of ceramic, Southern Song Guan Kiln Museum, besides the basic exhibition and education work, also actively builds co-developing relationships with schools, communities, and armies. In the forms of holding summer camp of cultural exhibition, providing flowing exhibition, opening classes for visiting and introducing, coming into communities of pottery art, conducting pottery art exhibition of middle and primary students, and training little commentators, the museum carries out various patriotic educational activities. With these activities, the museum succeeds building its good social image, and has achieved fruitful results. Furthermore it contributes a lot to the construction of civilization in Hangzhou City. In 2003, it was appraised as "Advanced company for construction and management of patriotic educational base in Hangzhou City". Now, the museum has become the first place for Hangzhou's middle and primary schools to carry out the patriotic education.
